General level course focussing on the hips

In this course, we will explore ways of bringing our focus into the hips while performing the basic types of asanas, including standing poses, backbends, and forward bends.

About the course

Hip mobility is very important in yoga practice. It has many benefits, from increasing the depth of a pose to relieving long-term fatigue in the surrounding muscles and joints. Therefore, increasing the range of motion in the hips is essential for advancing your practice. This is one of the reasons many sequences start with warming up the hips. As you improve your hip mobility, you will notice that you are able to hold poses for longer periods of time and prolong your daily routine without getting as tired.
