The focus of this week’s advanced class is backbend asanas.
As you get more advanced, you start to pay closer attention to how you distribute your strength throughout the practice. It becomes clearer when it’s time to put more effort into a pose and when you can let go and flow through it. You start to see that poses that seemed out of reach before were actually only challenging because you hadn’t found the right approach just yet. Today, we will look at the little tweaks that can be made in our poses and movements to facilitate practice and improve its quality.
