Level 3 Classes (July – September 2021)
A level 3 course made up of classes that were recorded at Balmain Iyengar Yoga Studio in the period between July and September 2021. A good collection for those looking to take their practice to a new level or catch up on missed material.

Mindfulness in Forward Bends (Level 3)
This is a class for advanced students, in which we will go through a wide variety of seated forward bends and observe the actions required to make the most out of each pose.
Restorative Session with Guided Seated Meditation (Level 3)
This is a restorative class for high-level students in which we'll be spending most of the session preparing for guided seated pranayama.
Twisting in Standing Poses with Wall Support (Level 3)
A fairly advanced sequence focussed on twisting in standing poses.
Forward Bends with a Focus on Legs (Level 3)
In this video, we will be looking at the subtle actions in our legs as we extend in forward bends.
Restorative: Using Props to Facilitate Observation (Level 3)
A pranayama class to help students regain a sense of novelty in restorative poses through the use of props and observation.
Using Wall Support to Explore Limitations (Level 3)
A slightly more static miscellaneous sequence for level 3 students aimed at developing the connections between different parts of the body.
About the course
This course was designed for level 3 students who are looking to deepen their practice through a more detailed exploration of common Iyengar yoga pose types. The classes in this collection will help level 3 students to become more confident when practising advanced postures and will help them reach a point in their yoga journey where they start to understand the nuances of yoga that have so far been hidden beneath the surface.
