A follow-up to last week’s backbend session, this class focusses on release and relaxation. It’s a very well-rounded restorative session that pays attention to all the areas that tend to accumulate tension over time: the lower back, the neck and shoulders, the hips and legs.
In this class, there will be no asana practice per se. We will jump straight into the restorative poses seeing as this is a continuation of the backbend session posted the week before. But you could add a brief asana practice beforehand or you could pause the video around the time we are practising Adho Mukha Svanasana and add a sun salutation or other mini-sequence. If you have more time, you could also combine this class with last week’s backbend session or any other session of your choice.
