This is an advanced-level miscellaneous class focussing on a mixture of standing, sitting, and twisting poses, aimed at teaching students to observe the cues from their bodies in a more methodical way.
Guruji used to say that, over time, as you deepen your practice, you might notice that different small parts of your body might speak to you to let you know that something isn’t quite right. This is similar to when a musician is trying to tune an instrument: they can hear when the notes are a bit off and know how to make them sound right. This analogy can be applied to the body during our practice. Yoga is our chance to tune both our bodies and our minds, to return to a balanced neutral state. Ask yourself as you practice: which parts feel off-key?
