Introduction
A sequence aimed at helping beginner students get more acquainted with the more foundational standing poses in yoga. It’s a sequence you can always come back to and repeat until you feel confident in the poses and comfortable holding each one for as long as one or two minutes straight.
After some repetition, as you progress in your practice, you will notice the change your practice brings to your daily life. Standing poses have a great impact on the way we hold ourselves: our posture, our walk, our energy, and the lightness of our steps. Notice what this practice brings to you personally. By paying attention to this you are developing your observation, another key yoga skill.
